The Day with STIG off Topgear

Scott Macay from Great Yarmouth a school friend of Carla's gave £2000 to Carlas Charity (carlas angels in aid of the palliative care east appeal) to visit Top Gear and meet the infamous Stig. The Stig who supports Carla's Angels agrees it is such a worthy cause and to help such a wonderful women help others. It was 1000hrs on Wednesday the 11th and it had just started to rain when from the side of the track we saw a Mercedes at mac9 coming into view, we were stood on Gambons Corner where the car would naturally be slowed and as such the Stig drove round and saw Tremaine and acknowledged that they were there by taking his hand off the wheel and waved.

After watching him being filmed for a while he changed his car into a 7 series BMW and sped away again only to drive the circuit and pull up just near to where we were standing. He opened the door and beckoned one of the marshals to come over to us and get us in the car... Scott didn't know whether to walk and savour the moment or sprint. We all got in and the white helmet stig looked and shot off, within seconds noticing we were already at 130mph and scott noticed we were now reaching 160mph whilst the stig was playing with the car. Scott watched and held on as "this was unbelievable" he said.

After a photo shoot  Scott then went into the show at 1400hrs and had the chance to see how the filming was done and listen to the interviews. After the day i asked Scott what was his overall opinion of the day and he replied " This day will remain with me my entire life and unfortunately i would have never been able to do this if it weren't for you and Carla and i hope that the money will help those that need it as every time i think of the day i drove with the Stig i will remember all of those i have helped". also "thank you to Tremaine for organising the event and good luck with his remarkable 4deserts challenge next year".
